While everyone will be considering it to be a cake walk for nephew Imran Khan to get a project under his star-uncle Aamir Khan’s banner, the young star revealed that it was not the case at all.

Said Imran at a press meet, "It was never an easy process to get through Aamir khan productions for Delhi Belly; I gave 6 auditions to get through.”

On this Imran’s co-star Vir Das humorously added, "Aamir Khan Productions gives you a chance of loosing complete hope and then they will call you for another rejection and another for the longest time before selecting you finally...."

Incidentally it is also said that Imran had to pass through proper auditions when he bagged his debut movie ‘Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na’ - also his mamu jaan’s production.

Couple of days back, Imran and Vir along with actor Kunal Roy Kapoor had met the media to promote their movie ‘Delhi Belly’ at Arthur's Theme, Juhu.

Recently Imu made headlines when he filed a PIL against Maharashtra government's new rule of upping the drinking age limit from 21 to 25 years. The actor stated, “It is ridiculous, when an 18 year old can elect a government and get married, why can’t they drink?"
